2. Technically, the company must be able to digitally implement, visualize and optimize its business processes. It is important to implement a central “master system” as SSOT (Single Source of Thuth) that “holds all the strings in hand”. One speaks here of an ERP system that collects, processes and distributes information from all other “peripheral systems”.
A digitized company has to be able to achieve much more than the sum of its digital subsystems. Using modern chat, conference and e-mail systems to then fill out Excel spreadsheets and Word documents by hand does not make the company any smarter . The role of the “ERP Masters System” as SSOT is to automate company information without human intervention in and out of the processes.

However, new skills are required, less routine or routine-like tasks, more personal responsibility, creativity and interdisciplinary intelligence. Subjects that used to be clearly defined are now merging strongly with information technology. Everyone in the new world of work now somehow becomes a programmer, even if he / she does not write programs directly.
